Keep Dreaming

This is a post that I wrote in 2019, but I felt led to share it because this blog is a product of the dreams me and the Lord have kept.

Joel 2:25 was my scripture for 2019 and my personal word for that year was Restore.

Recently the Lord has been telling me to dream again. For maybe two years now, I stopped dreaming because they all seem so impossible. Most times, big dreams/God dreams require A LOT of faith, patience, vision, focus, and willingness to step out into the unknown.

Naturally, I’m a planner, I’m into the details and I like order. All the type A people put your hands up 🙋🏽‍♀️. I like to know where I’m going and what I’m doing. When things seem unstable/unsafe it freaks me out and my flight skills kick in full speed. However, this past year God has been challenging me to step out into things I’m totally uncomfortable with and trust that He’s in every single detail. He’s in the unknown because He knows all things and I trust Him to keep me safe ♥️. It’s almost like He wants to restore every dream I had in my heart and know they’re there because He put them in my heart. They’re His dreams as much as they are mine.

So to everyone who has stopped dreaming out of fear, inconsistency or whatever the case may be, I’m here to tell you to dream again. God is a restorer and has it all under control so you don’t have to.
